Meijer of Wixom surprises Sarah G. Banks Middle School with generous donation

The Meijer of Wixom on Grand River Avenue left the Bulldogs in complete shock on Thursday when store director Seleana Yancey and Megan Vigna, the area lead, surprised Sarah G. Banks Middle School principal Jennifer VanWagnen with a check for $10,000.

The incredibly generous donation was apart of the store’s Meijer Team Gives program. Thanks to their generosity, Sarah G. Banks will build two new Gaga pits and purchase much needed indoor recess gear for the Bulldogs.

Two years ago, the Meijer of Wixom also surprised Wixom Elementary with a $10,000 donation which helped funded the Wolves an outdoor classroom.
